Review: CB-6000 & CB-6000S Male Chastity Cage

My first male chastity experience I used the Bon-4 Male Chastity Cage due to a recommendation from a fellow reviewer. But after several lock-ups with the Bon-4, I felt it was time to finally try out the big daddy of chastity cages, the 2013 XBIZ Awards Winner, The CB-6000 Male Chastity Cage. The CB-6000 Male Chastity Cage is the gold standard when it comes to chastity cages. Whenever I hear someone talk about being locked up, the CB-6000 is the device they use, so I was looking forward to finding out why and trying it out for myself. So once again, I was caged, padlocked, and handed the key along with the power of my penis over to another.

Design / Packaging
The CB-6000 comes in a standard size kit as well as a smaller version, the CB-6000S. The only difference between the two is the actual cage that secures the penis. Because of this I purchased the standard CB-6000 kit along with the CB-6000S Cage Only which is sold separately and works perfectly with the standard kit. The standard cage measures 3 1/4″ in length whereas the CB-6000S is 2 1/2″ inches. Both cages have an internal diameter of 1 3/8″.

No matter which size cage you prefer, the rest of the kit comes with 5 ring sizes, measuring 1 1/2″, 1 5/8″, 1 3/4″, 1 7/8″, and 2″, 4 locking pins and spacers, one brass padlock, 5 ID numbered plastic locks, a storage/travel case, as well as a .44ml tube of One System JO Premium Silicone Lube. Both the cages and rings are made from highly durable, medical grade polycarbonate.

Comfort is key when it comes to chastity devices. You’re going to be locked up for days if not weeks at a time, so the last thing you want is to be rearranging your “package” throughout the day. The first step is finding the right size ring, not only for comfort but also for security so you can’t easily slip out. I found the 1 5/8″ size ring to be the best for me, but no matter what your size there is a perfect ring for you. Next you attach the locking pins and pick what size spacer you want. The spacer designates the distance between the ring and the cage, and there are 4 sizes to choose from. From there you secure the cage and select either the brass padlock or one of the ID plastic locks. Finally, it’s time to hand over that key along with the control of your sexual fulfillment!

The CB-6000S

The CB-6000 is very different the other chastity device I own (the Bon 4), and there are things about each that I prefer over the other. For starters the thing I least liked about the Bon 4 was that you had to stretch the base ring around the testicles and slide them through one at a time. I greatly prefer the C-shape design of the rings with the CB-6000 that let you slip them around the base of your penis and balls and avoid the testicles all together. But the thing I prefer the most about the CB-6000 over the Bon 4 is it doesn’t have the irritating and annoying band that wrapped around the testicles and secured the cage to the back of the base ring. I seriously hated that band, as it didn’t allow my testicles to descend when things got hot which just caused even more sweat and problems. Since the CB-6000 is made from a hard material, the band is not needed and still makes sure things are very secure. The biggest difference between the CB-6000 and the Bon 4 is the materials each device is made of. While the Bon 4 is made from silicone, the CB-6000 is made from a hard polycarbonate. I thought this would cause a larger than normal bulge under normal clothing, but that wasn’t the case. In fact I felt comfortable wearing the CB-6000 out in public and no one could even tell I had my manhood locked up underneath my jeans. After a couple days however, the polycarbonate did become an issue. When first fitting the device it is recommended to use some type of lube to help body parts slide into place. But after a few days and a couple showers the lube had washed away and the plastic began to chafe my skin and cause irritation, usually waking me up in the middle of the night. Because of this I had to reapply lube after every shower and sometimes even again later in the day. While this wasn’t a huge inconvenience, I do prefer the silicone material found in the Bon 4 as chaffing was never an issue. However, once I made applying lube part of my morning routine I found the CB-6000 to be very comfortable and most of the time I forgot I was even wearing a chastity device.

Final Thoughts
I now see why the CB-6000 is the most popular Male Chastity Device. Despite the few problems I had, I found it’s greatest feature is security. Due to the ability to choose from 5 ring sizes and 4 spacers, you are able to find a combo that is not only comfortable (as long as you apply lube) but also there is no chance of you breaking free until your keyholder wants you to. From now on when my penis gets locked up, it will be secured by the CB-6000.

The CB-6000 also comes in a variety of finishes such as Chrome, Wood, and Camo, as well as the standard Clear which I chose.

I purchased my CB-6000 through BiggerHarderFaster, and I purchased the CB-6000S Cage Only through Extreme Restraints. Both sites have a large selection of other great sex toys and bondage products for both men and woman.
